2. ROLE AS SALES AGENT
Johnson Global Tours, LLC, doing business as Johnson Global Tours ("the Company") acts solely as a sales agent for airlines, hotels, car rental companies, tour operators, cruise lines, and all other third-party travel service providers listed in your itinerary (collectively, "Suppliers"). The Company does not own, manage, or directly operate any Supplier services and has no control over their policies, schedules, staffing, or performance. The Company makes no representations regarding the financial condition, stability, or suitability of any Supplier. The Company attempts to partner only with Suppliers that demonstrate an acceptable level of reliability and responsiveness.
3. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Company assumes no responsibility and shall not be held liable for any refund, personal injury, property damage, loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity caused by or arising from:
(1) Any negligent acts, omissions, defaults, or failures by Suppliers or other third parties not under the direct control of the Company;
(2) Any defect, malfunction, or failure of any vehicle, vessel, equipment, or instrumentality owned or operated by a Supplier;
(3) Any breach of contract, failure to comply with applicable law (including the Americans with Disabilities Act), or intentional or negligent acts by any Supplier or third party;
(4) Acts of terrorism, social or labor unrest, mechanical or construction failures, disease outbreaks, local laws, climatic conditions, natural disasters, civil unrest, government action, acts of God, or any other condition outside the Company's reasonable control; or
(5) Any losses connected with booking, scheduling, baggage handling, or loss of personal effects.
You hereby release the Company from all claims arising out of any circumstances described in this section. By booking travel, you voluntarily assume all risks involved, whether expected or unexpected.
4. REGISTRATION & PAYMENT
Deposits
A deposit of $500 per person for international tours is required to reserve your space. Deposits may be paid by check or major credit card.
Final Payment
Final payment is due 120 days prior to departure. If payment is not received by the applicable deadline, your space cannot be guaranteed. Participants registering within this window must remit full payment at the time of booking.
Late Registration
Reservations received within 30 days of departure are considered late registrations and require special confirmation. Full payment must be made immediately by credit card or overnight-mailed check. Rush visa fees may apply for certain destinations. If confirmation cannot be secured, all payments will be refunded in full.
Price Adjustments
Tour prices are based on current tariffs, currency exchange rates, and minimum enrollment numbers. The Company reserves the right to apply currency surcharges prior to departure due to fluctuations in foreign exchange or energy prices. Every effort will be made to maintain advertised pricing.
5. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
Traveler-Initiated Cancellations
The following cancellation schedule applies per person, based on date of written notice to the Company:
• Cancellation within 7 days of booking (if prior to final payment date): full deposit refunded
• Cancellation after the 7-day grace period but before final payment date: 50% of total deposit forfeited
• Cancellation on or after final payment date: fully non-refundable
• No refunds are issued for unused portions of a tour, including missed meals, hotel nights, or sightseeing
Certain specialty tours may carry different cancellation terms. Please confirm with your travel consultant at the time of booking. There are no exceptions to this cancellation policy. Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.
Company-Initiated Cancellations
If the Company cancels a tour due to insufficient enrollment or other circumstances, you will receive a full refund of all monies paid or the option to transfer your deposit to another tour. If the Company can sustain a departure by offering a Small Group Supplement, participants will be given the choice to pay the supplement or receive a full refund. If the required enrollment is later achieved, any supplement paid will be refunded.
Non-Transferable Payments
All payments are non-transferable to other individuals or to a different tour unless otherwise authorized in writing by the Company.
6. TRANSPORTATION & FLIGHT POLICIES
Airfare is not included in any tour package offered by the Company. All flights to and from your tour's departure and return destinations are the sole responsibility of the traveler to research, book, and fund independently.
The Company is not responsible for and does not accept liability for any cancellation penalties, schedule changes, delays, missed connections, or losses related to airline tickets purchased independently. Travelers are strongly encouraged to review all airline cancellation and change policies before purchasing tickets. We also recommend confirming your tour departure before purchasing non-refundable airfare, as tours may be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment.
All tours are operated on a "Land Only" basis. The tour begins at the designated arrival location and concludes at the designated departure location as specified in your itinerary. It is your responsibility to coordinate your individual flight schedule to align with the group's arrival and departure times. Transfers arranged outside of standard group transfer times may incur additional charges.
The Company is not responsible for missed connections, flight delays, or cancellations that affect your ability to join or depart the tour. Once your flight has departed, the operating airline assumes full control of your reservation, and any rebooking must be arranged directly with the carrier.
7. TRAVELER RESPONSIBILITIES
7.1 Passports & Entry Documents
For all international travel, a valid, government-issued U.S. passport book is required regardless of age. Your passport must have at least four blank visa pages and must be valid for a minimum of six months beyond your return date (some countries require one year or longer). The name on your reservation must match exactly the name on your passport. Children under 18 traveling with only one parent or a non-parent/non-guardian should carry a notarized letter of consent.
7.2 Visas & Entry Requirements
You are solely responsible for verifying and complying with all visa, vaccination, and other entry requirements for your destination(s). U.S. citizens who have ever been charged or convicted of a serious crime, including a DUI, may be denied entry into certain countries. Medications that are legal in the United States may be prohibited in your destination country — you may be detained for carrying unauthorized substances.
For destination safety and health information, contact the U.S. State Department Travel Advisory Section at (202) 647-5225 or www.travel.state.gov, and the Centers for Disease Control at (877) FYI-TRIP or www.cdc.gov/travel. For additional information, visit www.dhs.gov or the U.S. Consulate for your destination country.
You hereby release the Company from all claims arising from failure to comply with entry requirements or any resulting consequences.
7.3 TSA & Real ID
All passengers must carry valid, government-issued photo identification to board a domestic flight. Identification must comply with the Federal Real ID Act. The name, date of birth, and gender on your ID must exactly match the information on your airline ticket and booking record. Non-compliance may result in denied boarding or security delays. For more information, visit www.dhs.gov/real-id.
7.4 Disability & Special Needs
Any disability or special need that may affect your ability to travel must be disclosed to the Company at the time of booking. The Company will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special needs but is not responsible for denial of services by carriers, hotels, or other Suppliers. The Company is unable to provide individual assistance for walking, dining, boarding transportation, or other personal needs. Travelers requiring such assistance must be accompanied by a qualified companion. Failure to disclose a disability may result in denied boarding or entry, and the Company cannot issue refunds for unused services in such cases.
7.5 Physical Fitness
Many tours require participants to be in good physical and mental health, capable of walking at least one mile over uneven terrain and climbing stairs without handrails, and able to maintain pace with an active group on long days of touring. If a tour leader determines that a participant's mobility is significantly impacting the tour, that participant may be asked to remain on the vehicle, stay at the hotel, or depart from the group. In such a circumstance, the participant is responsible for all costs associated with their independent return home.
7.6 Booking Name Accuracy
The Company will contact you via email and text to verify your passport name. If your name on file is incorrect and you do not respond to these communications with a correction, you will be responsible for any fees associated with name changes or ticket reissuance.
8. ACCOMMODATIONS
Tour prices are based on double occupancy with a private bath. Single rooms are available but may be limited — early registration is recommended. A single supplement will apply. If you are traveling alone and would like a roommate, the Company will make reasonable efforts to match you with a compatible travel companion of the same gender and smoking preference. If no roommate can be found by the time of final payment, the single supplement will be charged. If a roommate is subsequently found after payment, the supplement will be refunded.
9. MEDICAL EMERGENCIES & TRAVEL INSURANCE
The Company and its tour leaders are not equipped to assist during medical emergencies. If a participant is hospitalized or otherwise unable to continue, the group will proceed on schedule. The Company's office is unable to provide on-the-ground assistance. All medical expenses — including hospital stays, air ambulances, and other medical evacuations — are entirely the traveler's responsibility. In the event of a participant's death, the cost of repatriation of remains is also the traveler's responsibility.
Comprehensive travel protection insurance is strongly recommended for all destinations. Trip cancellation insurance covers cancellations after final payment has been made. Maximum benefits, including waivers of pre-existing condition exclusions, may apply only if purchased within a specified window following your initial deposit. Travel protection may be purchased up until the day prior to departure. Please consult your insurance provider for full details.
10. CONDUCT, SMOKING & GROUP POLICIES
Code of Conduct
All travelers are expected to conduct themselves with respect and courtesy throughout the tour. Physical or verbal abuse, harassment, racism, or discriminatory language directed at fellow participants, tour leaders, or any individuals encountered during travel is strictly prohibited. The tour leader has the authority to remove any participant found to have violated this policy. A removed participant will be responsible for arranging and funding their own return home.
Compliance with Laws & Vendor Rules
Travelers who violate applicable laws, government regulations, or rules established by the tour leader or vendors will be required to leave the tour immediately and will bear all costs of independent return travel.
Punctuality
The tour operates on a fixed schedule. Your tour leader will communicate specific meeting times. If you are not present at the designated time and location, the group will depart without you. You will be responsible for independently rejoining the group and for any expenses incurred.
Smoking & Vaping Policy
For the comfort of all participants, smoking and vaping are not permitted during any group activities, including transportation, excursions, and meals.
11. ITINERARY MODIFICATIONS & TOUR LEADER CHANGES
The Company reserves the right to modify itineraries, substitute attractions or hotels, and make other program adjustments when improvements are possible or when unforeseen circumstances require it. Weather conditions may necessitate changes to cruise sailing schedules; the ship captain holds final authority over sailing decisions. Every effort will be made to operate the program as planned.
The tour leader displayed on the Company's website is subject to change at any time. If your assigned tour leader changes prior to departure, this does not entitle you to cancel your reservation or receive a refund.
12. PHOTOGRAPHY & PROMOTIONAL USE
Photographs and video footage taken during the tour may feature participants and may be used by the Company for promotional, educational, or marketing purposes, including on its website and social media platforms. Participants who prefer that their image not be used must notify the tour manager at the beginning of the tour. By failing to opt out, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use such images and footage.
13. BAGGAGE
The Company is not responsible for and does not assume liability for loss of or damage to baggage due to theft, breakage, or normal wear and tear through hotel or group carrier handling. Travelers are strongly encouraged to obtain adequate insurance coverage for baggage-related risks. Please speak with your travel consultant about low-cost baggage insurance options.
14. WAITING LIST
If your desired tour is fully enrolled, you will be placed on a waiting list. A credit card may be required to hold your position. If you wish to withdraw from the waiting list, please notify the Company promptly. The Company will contact you only if a space becomes available; you are welcome to inquire about your status at any time by calling (801) 669-4515.
15. DATA PRIVACY
The Company treats your personal information with strict confidentiality and will not sell your data to third parties. Your information will be used to manage your travel reservation and improve our services. It may be shared with Suppliers involved in delivering your travel. The Company will take all reasonable steps to protect your data but cannot guarantee against unauthorized access resulting from third-party actions. In the event of a court order requiring disclosure, the Company will notify you in advance where permitted by law.
16. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, and representatives from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (i) your participation in the tour; (ii) any arrangements you make based on information obtained through the Company; or (iii) any breach by you of these Terms and Conditions.
17. DISPUTE RESOLUTION & GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall first be submitted to binding arbitration under the provisions of the Utah Arbitration Act. The arbitrator may award reasonable costs and expenses, including attorneys' fees, to the prevailing party. If arbitration does not resolve the dispute, the courts of Davis County, State of Utah shall serve as the exclusive jurisdiction, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
18. DOCUMENT REVIEW & ACCEPTANCE
Upon receipt of your travel documents, you agree to review all details for accuracy. Please contact the Company promptly if you identify any errors or have questions. You understand that discounted fares carry restrictions, and that changes to any element of your travel arrangements may result in additional charges.
Additional terms and conditions specific to certain tours may be provided in pre-trip communications. By registering for and/or making payment toward a tour, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms set forth herein, on behalf of yourself and all members of your traveling party, including minors.
