Airfare is not included. All flights to and from the tour are the traveler's responsibility to arrange independently.
Cancellations within 7 days of booking are eligible for a full deposit refund. After the grace period, 50% of the deposit is forfeited. No refunds are issued on or after the final payment date.
We strongly recommend purchasing a comprehensive travel protection plan prior to departure.
Final payment is due 120 days before departure and must be paid by check.
Participants must be able to walk independently over uneven terrain for extended periods. Tours are not wheelchair accessible.
A valid U.S. passport book is required for all international travel. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date and have at least 4 blank pages.

Day 1
Depart for Tanzania
Leave the states and head to Africa
Day 2
Arrive in Tanzania
Welcome to Tanzania! You will arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport just after midnight. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly greeted and transferred directly to your lodge for a well-deserved rest after your journey.

Day 3
Mount Kilimanjaro Foothills
After breakfast, journey to the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro to explore the beautiful Materuni Waterfalls and visit a local Chagga village. Experience traditional culture, learn about local coffee production, and enjoy a scenic lunch before continuing on to Arusha, with stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru, and the surrounding countryside.

Day 4
Tarangire National Park Safari
Travel to Tarangire National Park, known for its iconic baobab trees and large elephant herds. Enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives as you search for wildlife including giraffes, zebras, lions, and more, with a picnic lunch set in the heart of the park.

Day 5
Lake Manyara National Park
Continue to Lake Manyara National Park, a diverse landscape of forest, grassland, and lake shoreline. Known for its rich birdlife and flamingos, the park also offers excellent wildlife viewing, including elephants, baboons, and the famous tree-climbing lions, with a picnic lunch enjoyed inside the park.

Day 6
Serengeti National Park
Journey into the legendary Serengeti National Park, one of the most famous wildlife destinations in the world. After arrival and lunch, head out on your first game drive across the vast savannah, home to incredible wildlife and the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras.

Day 7
Serengeti Safari & Ngorongoro
Spend the day exploring the Serengeti with a full-day game drive, offering the chance to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and vast herds of wildlife. After a picnic lunch in the bush, continue your journey toward the Ngorongoro region, taking in more incredible scenery along the way.

Day 8
Ngorongoro Crater Safari
Descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s best wildlife viewing areas. This unique ecosystem is home to an incredible concentration of animals, offering excellent chances to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, and more—all within a single day.

Day 9
Flight to Zanzibar
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar, where a tropical island escape awaits. Upon arrival, you’ll head to your beachside hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing by the ocean.

Day 10
Stone Town & Prison Island
Explore historic Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site filled with rich culture and history. Wander through narrow streets, visit key landmarks, and learn about Zanzibar’s past before heading to Prison Island, home to giant tortoises and fascinating history.

Day 11
Spice Tour & Beach Experience
Visit a local spice plantation and discover why Zanzibar is known as the “Spice Island,” learning about spices and tropical fruits grown on the island. In the afternoon, enjoy free time for swimming, snorkeling, or relaxing on the beach, followed by an evening exploring local nightlife and the famous Forodhani night market.

Departure
