Airfare is not included. All flights to and from the tour are the traveler's responsibility to arrange independently.
Cancellations within 7 days of booking are eligible for a full deposit refund. After the grace period, 50% of the deposit is forfeited. No refunds are issued on or after the final payment date.

Final payment is due 120 days before departure and must be paid by check.
Participants must be able to walk independently over uneven terrain for extended periods. Tours are not wheelchair accessible.
A valid U.S. passport book is required for all international travel. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date and have at least 4 blank pages.

Day 1
Arrival in Beijing
Welcome to China! Upon arrival in Beijing, you will be met by your local guide and transferred to your hotel. After time to settle in and rest from your journey, meet your fellow travelers in the evening for a welcome dinner, where you will be introduced to authentic Chinese cuisine and receive an overview of the exciting journey ahead.

Day 2
Imperial Beijing
Begin exploring China’s capital with a visit to Tiananmen Square, one of the largest public squares in the world. From here, enter the magnificent Forbidden City, the former imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later, experience traditional Beijing life during a Hutong tour, including a visit with a local family to learn more about everyday culture. In the evening, enjoy a spectacular Chinese acrobatic show, showcasing incredible skill and artistry.

Day 3
The Great Wall
Today you will visit one of the most iconic landmarks in the world — the Great Wall of China at the Juyongguan section, offering breathtaking views and a chance to walk along this ancient wonder. Along the way, stop at a jade workshop to learn about this treasured Chinese stone and its cultural significance. Later, visit the beautiful Summer Palace, a stunning imperial retreat known for its lakes, gardens, and historic architecture.

Day 4
Temple of Heaven & Journey to Xi’an
This morning visit the elegant Temple of Heaven, where emperors once prayed for good harvests. Afterward, stop at a silk store to learn about the centuries-old art of silk production. Later, board a high-speed train to Xi’an, one of China’s oldest cities and the starting point of the ancient Silk Road. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 5
Terracotta Warriors
Today’s highlight is the world-famous Terracotta Army, an extraordinary archaeological discovery featuring thousands of life-sized soldiers built to guard China’s first emperor in the afterlife. Return to the city and explore the lively Muslim Quarter, known for its vibrant street food, markets, and unique blend of Chinese and Islamic culture.

Day 6
Xi’an to Chengdu
Visit the historic Big Wild Goose Pagoda, an important symbol of Xi’an and Buddhist heritage in China. Later, travel by high-speed train to Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province and home of the giant panda. In the evening, explore a local night market, where you can sample Sichuan snacks and experience the city’s lively atmosphere.

Day 7
Pandas & Sichuan Culture
Start the day with a visit to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, where you’ll have the chance to see China’s beloved giant pandas up close. Later, enjoy a relaxing walk through People’s Park, where locals gather to drink tea, play games, and socialize. End the day exploring Jinli Ancient Street, filled with traditional architecture, shops, and street food.

Day 8
Chengdu to Chongqing
Travel by high-speed train to Chongqing, a dramatic mountain city built along the Yangtze River. After arriving, visit the famous Hongya Cave, a fascinating hillside complex filled with restaurants, shops, and stunning night views overlooking the river.

Day 9
Dazu Rock Carvings
Today explore the remarkable Dazu Rock Carvings, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring thousands of intricate Buddhist sculptures carved into cliffs more than 1,000 years ago. Later, stroll through Ciqikou Ancient Town, a charming historic district known for traditional architecture, tea houses, and local crafts.

Day 10
Chongqing to Guilin & Yangshuo
Board a high-speed train to Guilin, famous for its spectacular karst mountain landscapes. From there, travel to the scenic town of Yangshuo, stopping along the way to explore Daxu Ancient Town, one of the best-preserved river towns in the region. In the evening, explore the lively shops and cafés of West Street.

Day 11
Yangshuo Countryside
Experience the stunning countryside of Yangshuo today. Enjoy a biking excursion through rural villages, rice fields, and limestone mountains. Later, take a relaxing bamboo raft ride along the Li River, one of the most picturesque landscapes in all of China.

Day 12
Longji Rice Terraces & Guilin
Travel to the breathtaking Longji Rice Terraces, also known as the “Dragon’s Backbone,” where cascading rice fields create incredible scenery across the mountainsides. Later return to Guilin to visit the beautiful Sun and Moon Pagodas, located in the center of Shan Lake.

Day 13
Guilin to Guangzhou
Visit Elephant Trunk Hill, Guilin’s most famous natural landmark. Later, board a high-speed train to Guangzhou, a major port city with a long history of international trade. Enjoy a city tour before gathering for a memorable farewell dinner to celebrate the end of your incredible journey through China.

Departure
